Product Description

SDP1237 is Closed-Cell Medium Density, Spray applied, rigid polyurethane foam resin that has been tested by SGS, Intertek and evaluated by the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) and Underwriters Laboratories (ULC). The site sprayed foam system consists of two components, isocyanate and resin.

SDP1237 is a low VOC emitting and low GWP (Global Warming Potential) <1 (Kg CO2 eq) material. It meets the requirements of the GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD GOLD certifications. It can be used for residential, schools, healthcare facilities, industrial, and institutional building application where proper insulation is in need.
SDP1237 used blowing agent HFO has zero ozone depleting potential ,complies with the intent of the International Code Council's residential and commercial building codes.

Usage Attentions

The thickness of one gun spray foam should not exceed 50 mm. If over 50mm, which may cause foam charring or spontaneous combustion and poor foam performance.
It is suggested that spray next layer of the foam after the internal temperature of last spray foam blow 25ºC. And the maximum thickness spray during 24h period is 203mm(8inches).
Like most of foam product, foam made by SDP1237 is combustible. An thermal barrier must be installed in accordance with approved construction standards.
The service temperature of the foam with SDP1237 is between -60~80ºC.

Storage Recommendations

The blend polyol should be stored in the sealed container to avoid the absorption of water vapor. During the transportation, it should avoid serious shake and strong sunlight. It should be stored in ventilated place, avoiding light, water and fire. Recommended storage temperature is 15~25ºC.

Safety Precautions

Direct contact with SDP1237 type blend polyol can lead to moderate eye irritation and mild skin irritation, which can cause skin allergies. Repeated inhalation of high concentration of volatile gas will cause respiratory allergy, and should be treated immediately. Anti- inflammatory and anti-allergic treatment measures should be taken.
Please be careful in the operation to prevent contact with the skin and splash into the eye, please wear the necessary protective equipment (gloves, protective goggles, working clothes, etc.).
Once splashed on the skin or the eye, rinse with water immediately for at least 15 minutes, and the skin is washed with soapy water. Please seek medical treatment immediately after swallowed.
